Time and again I hear people say "I can't meditate, I tried and I just can't get my mind to turn off". Maybe that sounds formaliar? What people don't realize is that meditation is not about turning off the mind, it's about noticing the stories the mind brings up, observing and releasing them. When we become aware of the thoughts we are having then we can began to heal and shift those patterns that no longer serve us. There are many different types of meditations out there and I am here to share one that has changed many lives including mine. The practices of Breath, Mantra and Kriya based meditations are know to calm the mind, reset the nervous system, and tap into bliss consciousness. By creating a specific practice for you that you are comfortable with can help you: ~Be able to come back to your center easier when things get loud and turbulent. ~Giving you tools to navigate the stresses that come up in your day to day life. ~Helping your nervous system stabilize so you can come from a place of non reaction. ~Access the joy with in you and stop seeking happiness outside yourself. ~Release the patterns of Flight, Fight, Freeze response. ~Release judgement of self and others. ~Increase focus and clarity ~Worry less ~Connect to self awareness ~Tap into your intuition I will share the importance of creating a sacred space for yourself in your home where you can come to daily and easily drop into a meditative space. Together we will go over: ~How to set up and create your meditation space ~How to use the breath ~How and why Mantra is so powerful ~When is the best time for you to practice Then we will create a practice that is right for you and what you'd like to align, to which you will commit to practicing for the next 21 days. It takes 21 days to create a new habit so thats exactly what you are going to do! You must be consistent with your practice to get results, and what better way than to commit to a 21 day practice.
